Privacy Policy & User Agreement
Public Wall Privacy Policy:
Introduction:
LI Innovation Project deeply respects the privacy of every user. We are committed to providing a safe community and services in compliance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other applicable laws. To achieve this, we use first-party and third-party tools (e.g., Cookies, trackers) to collect necessary information. All non-essential data collection is based on your explicit consent. You can manage these tools (e.g., accept or reject non-essential Cookies) through your browser settings or our Cookies consent banner.
Scope:
We Collect:
We collect only the minimum information necessary to fulfill the purposes of our services. The legal basis for collection includes: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the necessity to perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or legitimate interests (e.g., security monitoring, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Specific categories include:
- Your device information, such as operating system, CPU model, browser version, is used to optimize services.
- Your IP address and approximate IP geolocation, used for security and fraud prevention.
- Your interaction records on our website or services, including page visits, time spent, and behavior, are used to improve user experience.
- Any files or messages you send during discussions. (Any violating content will be deleted, but we cannot guarantee that other users have not saved your files or messages, and we are not responsible for this; you are responsible for the messages and files you send.)
- Your email address (only for anonymous users participating in community discussions, processed by Wikidot; based on contractual necessity).
- For website members: Your age. (Used for compliance checks; if under 13, parental consent is required.)
We Do Not Collect:
- Content violating community guidelines (except for temporary processing for moderation purposes).
- Your precise location, such as GPS data.
- Your phone number.
- Your personal identification documents or official identity information.
- Your personal photos (unless voluntarily uploaded and only for necessary scanning).
- Other personal information prohibited by law. (e.g., sensitive personal data, unless you provide explicit consent.)
How We Use Your Information:
What We Do:
- For traffic analysis or marketing studies (via Google Analytics and Cloudflare traffic analysis; data is anonymized, sharing only necessary categories like device type and interaction records; based on consent, which you may withdraw at any time.) Your information is not used by us, nor by our third party services for advertisment purposes.
- For security monitoring of website operations, sharing limited to IP and behavior logs for threat detection; based on legitimate interests.
- Automatic scanning of uploaded image files or URLs, solely to detect Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM, processed by Cloudflare and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC); based on legal obligations). If an issue is detected, we will report it to the authorities.
- We do not retain information indefinitely: retention periods are purpose-based, e.g., security logs are retained for 24 hours and then automatically deleted. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information at any time. Anonymizing your visit records, IP, and behavior for market analysis.
What We Do Not Do:
- Disclose your personal information in any form to others or unrelated third parties, except for necessary legal purposes (e.g., court orders).
- Sell or trade your personal information for compensation.
- Distribute, or save your information without your consent, except as required by law.
About Deletion Requests:
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. We accept deletion requests via email to privacy@publicwall.org, and we will respond within 30 days. Please include your valid email address, and if applicable, the public IP address and username for the data to be deleted.
Data Breach Notification:
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected registered users and authorities within 72 hours and take remedial actions.
Third-Party Sharing:
We share limited data with the following third parties: Google (analytics), Cloudflare (security, CSAM scanning and hosting), NCMEC (CSAM scanning), Wikidot (hosting) and third party forum services. Sharing is governed by data processing agreements to ensure compliance. For any other third-party sharing, data is anonymized beforehand.
Children’s Privacy:
For children under 13, we do not collect personal information unless we obtain parental consent. If your child’s actions lead to unintentional collection, parents or legal guardians will need to contact us to delete the data.
Policy Changes:
We will notify users of significant changes of our policy via email (for registered accounts) or Wikidot newsletters. The current version of this policy is effective as of June 1, 2026.
Public Wall User Agreement:
Before using services that is, managed by Public Wall, you must agree to our Privacy Policy and User Agreement. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
Public Wall and its owners reserves the right to temporarily or permanently restrict user access with reasonable justification (e.g., violation of guidelines). Users may appeal by emailing abuse@publicwall.org, and we will respond within 30 days.
We strive to maintain stable services but are not liable for interruptions due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters).
We implement reasonable security measures to protect personal information. In case of an accidental breach (e.g., hacking), we will notify users and investigate (non-compliant exemptions are excluded). We are not liable for intentional misconduct.
If you violate guidelines and cause harm, you agree to compensate for actual damages (excluding punitive or emotional distress damages, unless ordered by a court).
This agreement applies to services under liiproject.org, publicwall.org and their subdomains.
This agreement is effective as of June 1, 2026.
Report/Anti-Harassment or Dispute Resolution:
- Report copyright violations and violations of User Agreement and Community Guidelines to community administrators, moderators, or via email to abuse@publicwall.org.
- Appeals or disputes should also be sent to abuse@publicall.org, and we will respond promptly.
